Welcome to my therapy page! I provide therapy for children and adults in Las Vegas, and my work lets me connect with all kinds of people, each carrying their own story and concerns.
My intention is to create a space that feels gentle and reassuring, without pressure or judgment. It is common to feel uncertain about why you might be feeling down or overwhelmed, and that is perfectly okay! Therapy is not about having all the answers. It is about taking small steps together at a pace that feels right for you.
We all wear masks when we move through the world. The mask you wear at work is not the same one you wear at the gym, or when you chat with the Target cashier, or when you are with family. My hope is that when you come to therapy, you can leave those masks in the waiting room and bring your most honest self inside.
This is a space where you will not be judged and where you can talk, or not talk, about whatever feels important. If you are having a bad day, we will process it together. If you are having a good day, we will celebrate it together. Some days you might not have much to say, and those days are okay too. Therapy is not about filling the hour just to fill it. It is about the therapeutic relationship and about spending one hour of your week in a safe room where no masks are needed. My favorite part is when people feel safe enough to be messy, real, and human. :)

Therapeutic
Approach
My therapeutic style tends to be warm and engaging. I try to bring humor into the room and focus on building a genuine relationship. I provide a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings.
I have found that when attempting to change aspects of ourselves that no longer serve us, it is necessary to encourage and nurture our healthy ideals and strivings while we gain insight into our repetitive, maladaptive patterns. My approach usually includes psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral techniques with an emphasis on how people can use their support system, community resources, mindfulness, and newly learned skills to live the kind of life they envision for themselves. I tailor treatment to fit the individual, using an integrative approach that brings together my training in various modalities and my own lived experience.
Together, I work with clients towards navigating difficult transitions, improving the quality of relationships, and developing effective coping skills. My ultimate goal is to empower clients to reconstruct or create new narratives that bring about understanding, healing, meaning, and a stronger sense of self.
This is the welcome committee. Belly rubs required.
Education & Experience
I am a bilingual Clinical Professional Counselor (CPC) Intern, National Certified Counselor (NCC) via the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC), and a licensed School Counselor in the state of New Jersey. I earned my Bachelor’s in Psychology from UNLV and my Master’s Degree with Honors in School Counseling from Monmouth University (MU). I chose this program because of its strong commitment and awareness of social justice issues. Once I completed my master's degree, I continued my education and earned a Graduate Certificate in Professional Counseling from Monmouth University, where I received training in mental health counseling for children, adolescents, and families.
I am well-versed in navigating the school system, including CST (Child Study Teams), IEPs, 504s, HIBs (Harassment, Intimidation, Bullying), and Social-Emotional Learning (SEL). I am also a member of the American Counseling Association and Association for Play Therapy. I am pursuing a Registered Play Therapist (RPT) certification.

The Palms Casino Resort
Las Vegas, NV
This weekend, I had the honor of participating in a panel for World IBD Day at the Palms Casino Resort. The event was a collaboration between the Las Vegas Raiders and the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation. As the invited therapist, I spoke about the impact of stress on individuals coping with chronic illnesses. Additionally, I led the audience in a guided meditation and introduced some mindful activities like bubble breathing and grounding techniques. It was a privilege to contribute to such an important discussion and to support the ongoing efforts to raise awareness and provide support for those affected by IBD.
